The environmentally friendly water-based coating is applied whilst printing on our Heidelberg litho printing press via the anilox coating unit. The look and feel of the print is unaffected by the specialist coating which remains active and effective at killing bacteria and certain viruses for the lifetime of the printed material.
Specialist finishes such as soft touch, dead matt and super high gloss can be applied using the coating.
We call this product Core Care.
